Duke Of Edinburgh

Holy Cross has a long association with the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme.  All Year 10 pupils are offered the opportunity to take part in the Bronze Award.  The scheme teaches pupils crucial transferable skills such as resilience, teamwork and communication.  As a school we feel that the DofE scheme offers pupils invaluable experiences and memories.

There are four main sections of a DofE programme; Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and Expedition.
