Our Departments

At Holy Cross we value the importance of subjects as individual disciplines. Heads of department are subject experts who lead on the content, specifications and delivery of their curriculum.

Subject specific progression is rooted in what leaders expect their pupils to know at each particular stage.  Intelligent repetition of content is valued and retrieval is regularly used to promote acquisition of core knowledge.
