At Holy Cross Catholic High School, we are committed to delivering the Department for Education’s Enrichment Framework through a broad, inclusive and strategically planned programme of opportunities beyond the classroom.
Our enrichment offer provides all pupils with meaningful opportunities across all of the framework’s key areas, including civic engagement, arts and culture, sport and physical activity, nature and sustainability, and the development of wider life and future skills.
Aligned with our Catholic mission, curriculum intent and pupil interests, our enrichment offer includes chaplaincy and charitable service, arts and culture, debating and public speaking, STEM and environmental projects, leadership programmes, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and an extensive sports programme recognised through the Platinum School Games Award.
Accessible to all and strengthened through partnerships with local and national organisations, these experiences help pupils develop confidence, resilience, leadership, teamwork and cultural capital, ensuring they leave Holy Cross with the character, skills and aspirations to flourish in modern Britain and make a positive contribution to society.
