Gatsby Benchmarks

Our overriding aim is to ensure that every pupil leaves Holy Cross with the knowledge, values and confidence needed to achieve success in their chosen future pathway.

Our careers education programme is also informed by the Gatsby Benchmarks, a nationally recognised framework of eight standards designed to support the delivery of high-quality careers guidance in schools and colleges. Developed by the Gatsby Foundation and based on international best practice, the benchmarks provide a clear structure for preparing young people for the world of work and further study. These are:

We continually review and evaluate our careers provision to ensure it remains relevant, ambitious and responsive to the needs, aspirations and interests of all pupils, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.
