COVID-19 Catch-Up Plan

The DfE has allocated £72,721 to our school to be spent on supporting all our pupils to enable them to catch up following the unprecedented disruption to their education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The DfE guidance sets out the following expectations to ensure all pupils, particularly disadvantaged, vulnerable and SEND pupils, are given catch-up support.  Education is not optional, curriculum must remain broad and ambitious and these principles must extend to remote learning provision.

To implement our catch-up premium strategy, we will adopt a three-tiered approach:

• Teaching and whole-school approaches
• Targeted approaches
• Wider strategies
