If your child is in Year 6 you can now apply for their secondary school place via: www.lancashire.gov.uk/schools
It’s quick and easy to do and you will receive email confirmation of your application.
You must apply even if you already have siblings in school.
If you live in Lancashire you can include out of area preferences on your online application.
The closing date for secondary applications for September 2022 is 23:59 on 31 October 2022.
Parents are reminded that they must also submit a Supplementary Faith Form to the school, even if you don’t have a faith reference.

If your child is looking to move schools or you have recently moved into the local area and would like to apply for a place at Holy Cross Catholic High School, please complete the below In-Year Admissions Form and Supplementary Faith Form and return to admin@holycross.lancs.sch.uk to first check if there are any available spaces in the year group you require.
If we are unable to offer your child a place at our school and you wish to appeal this decision then please click on the below link and complete the online appeals form, parents are also reminded that they must also submit a Supplementary Faith Form to the school, even if you don’t have a faith reference.
Once appeals and any supporting evidence are received, Lancashire County Council Appeals Team will manage the appeals process from this point.
The Archdiocese of Liverpool is co-ordernating a consultation on admissions for 2024. Further details will be published following the consultation.
