Wellbeing has been defined as the combination of feeling good and functioning well.  It allows each individual to realise their own potential, to cope with the normal stresses of life and to work productively and fruitfully.

At Holy Cross we work together to help our pupils flourish and experience “life in all its fullness”.  We want to support our pupils in managing their own mental health and wellbeing.

If you have any concerns or worries we encourage you to speak to your child’s tutor as a first point of contact.  There are also a wide variety of external services you can access for support:

CAMHS – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.  This is accessed via the NHS and in most cases you will need a referral from your GP to access them.  More information can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/mental-health-services/mental-health-services-for-young-people/children-young-people-mental-health-services-cypmhs/
